At the corner of Eldon Street and Midland Street, across from the Barnsley Interchange, stood, until 2021, a pub (later becoming a fish 'n chip shop). Along Eldon Street, the pub front was a step up from the pavement. While at the rear, the entrance was accessed by twelve steps; nine of which were curved like a fan. Here, JMJ has used the foot print of the pub to create a public terrace.
