This slightly faded painting was JMJ's reaction to the first Covid lockdown. Children were creating art to put in their front windows, for passes by to admire, and JMJ wanted to create something similar. Originally to be titled 'Thank you NHS', while painting the postal van, JMJ realised it resembled that one used by the children's animated character Postman Pat. JMJ changed the title to Greetings from Greendale and would complete the painting by including nods of thank you to other key and essential workers - bin men, milk delivery drivers, grocery delivery drivers, the postal service and staff of the NHS.
